1.Description

 


1.Check that there is an undamaged SEFIC seal on the cylinder tap.

2.Remove the seal.This seal ensures that the cylinder has been correctly filled and checked by SEFIC.

3.Push the clamping ring onto the gas hose of your appliance.

4.Put the gas hose onto the free end of the pressure regulator.
Tip: lubricate the connecting piece with a little soap and water so that the hose can be pushed onto the connecting
piece more easily.

5.Push the clamping ring to the end of the gas hose.
Leave 2 mm of gas hose visible between the clamping ring and the nut on the connecting piece. Tighten the screw with a cross-headed screwdriver.do the same on the side of your appliance.

6.Check for the presence of the washer on the pressure regulator. If there isn’t one, fix a blue akulon washer.put the head of the pressure regulator on the tap and turn the nut to the left by hand.

7.Tighten the pressure regulator by hand. Never use a nut spanner if the regulator is fitted with a wingnut as shown on the photo.

8.Apply a little soapy water to all connections (nut, clamps) and to the hose.

9.Open the tap on the cylinder, but do not light your appliance yet.

10.If small bubbles appear where the soapy water was applied, that place is not gastight. Close the cylinder and make sure that all connections are tightened properly (nut, clamps).

11.If the bubbles appear on the hose itself, this definitely needs to be replaced as it has become porous.If there are no bubbles, you can light your appliance.
